Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SearchPriority collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, Google Search Console integration, Chrome extension, and related services.

1. Who we are

SearchPriority is an independent software service operated by Idowu Micheal. In this policy, “SearchPriority,” “we,” “us,” and “the Service” refer to the SearchPriority service operated by Idowu Micheal.

SearchPriority is available at searchpriority.com.

2. Information we collect

Google account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information made available through Google authentication, such as your email address and profile information. We use this information to identify and operate your SearchPriority account.

Google Search Console data

When you connect a Google Search Console property, you authorize SearchPriority to access Search Console performance data using Google's read-only Search Console permission.

Depending on the data available for your connected property, this may include:

  • Search queries
  • Page URLs
  • Clicks
  • Impressions
  • Click-through rate
  • Average search position

This access is read-only. SearchPriority cannot use this permission to modify your Search Console properties, data, or settings.

Information created through your use of SearchPriority

We may store information generated through your use of the Service, including detected opportunities, opportunity scores, opportunity history, reviewed or dismissed status, connected properties, saved analysis models, and the criteria used for those models.

Authentication credentials

To maintain an authorized connection to Google Search Console, SearchPriority may store a Google OAuth refresh token. The refresh token is encrypted at rest and used only to obtain short-lived access tokens when SearchPriority needs to make an authorized Search Console request for your account.

Payment and subscription information

If you purchase a paid SearchPriority plan, payment processing is handled by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for SearchPriority transactions. SearchPriority does not receive or store your full payment card details.

We may receive and store information needed to manage your subscription, including your plan, subscription status, billing period, transaction identifiers, subscription identifiers, and other billing-related information provided by Paddle.

Payment information submitted directly to Paddle is handled according to Paddle's own privacy practices and policies.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to operate and provide SearchPriority, including to:

  • Authenticate your account
  • Connect and sync authorized Search Console properties
  • Analyze Search Console performance data
  • Detect and score Striking Distance and Content Decay opportunities
  • Display supporting evidence and opportunity history
  • Run Custom Analysis using criteria you choose
  • Store and manage saved analysis models
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Process and maintain billing-related account status
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the Service
  • Respond to support and privacy requests

4. How we handle Google user data

SearchPriority accesses Google Search Console data only after you explicitly authorize access through Google OAuth.

We use Google user data only to provide SearchPriority features that you request, including syncing your authorized Search Console properties and generating SEO opportunity analysis for your account.

We do not sell Google user data or use your Search Console data for advertising, targeted advertising, or marketing profiles.

We do not share Google Search Console data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

SearchPriority's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. How your information is protected

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information processed by SearchPriority.

  • Google OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • Google OAuth refresh tokens are not transmitted to your browser or the SearchPriority Chrome extension.
  • Requests for account data are checked against authenticated account ownership.
  • Production web traffic is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • SearchPriority is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure and deployed using a self-hosted Coolify installation.

6. Service providers

We use service providers where necessary to operate SearchPriority. These providers may process information as required to provide their respective services.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

SearchPriority uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, including maintaining your authenticated session.

Paddle may also use cookies or similar technologies as part of its checkout and payment services when you interact with a Paddle-powered checkout.

We do not use Search Console data for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies to build advertising profiles based on your Search Console activity.

8. Your choices and controls

  • You can revoke SearchPriority's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions.
  • You can disconnect supported integrations through SearchPriority where that functionality is available.
  • You can request deletion of your SearchPriority account and associated data by contacting buildwithidm@gmail.com.
  • Removing the SearchPriority Chrome extension does not by itself revoke your underlying Google authorization. Google access can be revoked separately through your Google Account permissions.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SearchPriority, maintain your account, manage your subscription, comply with applicable obligations, prevent abuse, and resolve security or operational issues.

You may request deletion of your SearchPriority account and associated data by contacting buildwithidm@gmail.com.

Information retained independently by third-party providers, including Paddle, may remain subject to their own retention requirements and policies.
